Yellow box installation questions

OK, so this question actually has to do with the SpeedoHealer I bought, but I figure that it connects in the same spot on the bike. My question is where did you connect the wiring for your yellow box? Did you just splice into the light blue tach wire going to the instrument panel?

The speadohealer has 4 connections:

1. Input
2. Output
3. Power
4. Ground

The power and ground is easy, but I just want someone to reassure me that I'm thinking correctly because it just seems too easy. From what I can tell, all I have to do is cut the light blue tach wire and connect the input and output wires to their respective ends. Am I right???

Tach wire? It shouldn't be connected to the tachometer or is that where your getting power?? I just robbed power from the city light and then velcroed the yellow box to the top of the headlight.....
