Question: site to host animated .gif pics
Is there a place I could use to host those little animated .gif pictures? I tried in the past at regular sites like webshots or printroom (when they were working OK) as well as imagestation more recently and, from the .gif I was trying to host, only one fixed image was showing instead of the whole animation. Is there a free site where I could host some? Thanks!

u shoudl check if ur ISP provides u with a little hosting space. many (most?) ISPs will give u like 10MB of space at an URL like home.some-isp.com/~myname/
if u have high speed service from Videotron, u have 5MB. dont know if ur on dialup.

freek, yes, I'm on videotron and on cable modem. However, it is much easier for me to replace the tranny in my ZX-11 engine with the lights turned off and one hand tied in my back than to find how to host pictures on videotron's server. I'll try to give a look at this though. Thanks for your (and Richard's) reply!

i'm sure it's just a plain ftp interface to ur webspace. u can use your browser (IE or Mozilla) as a simple drag and drop ftp client. very user friendly. just enter the url (ftp://home.videotron.com/~claude or whatever it is) in ur browser and enter your login info when prompted.
