OT - What's that on the beach ?
It looks like Two Pirates !

ORMOND-BY-THE-SEA -- Crashing waves and a thrashing boat shook the three-member crew of the Two Pirates from sleep at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Terrified, the men soon realized they were trapped on a sandbar in rough seas, and struggled to control the 64-foot shrimp boat as the anchors banged against the hull.
But the white and blue vessel with its orange skull and crossbones flag kept rocking wildly.
The men put out a Mayday call and hoped for the best. The best proved successful for the trio -- they were rescued -- but not so good for the boat. The pounding waves carried it closer to shore. Then the beached Two Pirates -- stuck in the sand between Brooks Road and Standish Drive -- became a tourist attraction of sorts Tuesday afternoon. Curious beachgoers surrounded the vessel snapping photos of the boat-out-of-water.
But the reality wasn't that fun, especially for crew member Kent Roderic, who just moved to Florida last month from North Dakota hoping to try his hand at a new career. The boat, from St. Augustine, had been out to sea for four days, scooping up plenty of shrimp on its journey.
"I have never done this kind of fishing before and I don't think I'm going to do it again," a shaken Roderic said Tuesday afternoon as he nursed a sprained right foot on shore. "But it was an experience I can definitely tell my grandchildren about."
Roderic said he was grateful that nothing happened to him or his crewmates, Capt. Milton Rogers and second mate Todd Robinson. He said Warren Rogers, a 20-year veteran with the Volusia County Beach Patrol, saved their lives.
"We were trying to do everything we could to get her under control, but we couldn't," Roderic said.
When the Two Pirates ran aground just after 3 a.m., the crew radioed for help, putting out the call to the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard then notified the Beach Patrol.
Equipped with a power ski, beach officer Warren Rogers and a colleague responded to the Two Pirates. But when they arrived they saw the rocking ship, its anchors flying about and crashing into the sides of the vessel, said Deputy Chief Joe Wooden, spokesman for the Beach Patrol.
"The crew was very concerned for their safety," Wooden said. "They were scared because the waves were so high."
Because of the violent motion of the boat, Warren Rogers did not want to get close to the vessel for fear of getting rammed with one of the anchors, Wooden said.
Instead, the Beach Patrol officer maneuvered the power ski as close as he safely could to the ship and asked the frightened crew members to jump into the ocean and swim to him so he could take them to shore one by one.
At first, the captain declined Warren Rogers' invitation, telling him he wanted to stay with the ship, Wooden said.
"But a little while later, he changed his mind and asked for help," Wooden said.
The incident is under investigation by the Coast Guard's Marine Safety division in Jacksonville, said Lt. Tracy Royce.
Sanctions against the crew or the ship's owner are unlikely, however, Royce said, because no fuel was spilled and no harm was done to the environment.
Coast Guard officials also decided they would not test the crew for impairment from alcohol or drugs.
"That's done based on the circumstances," Royce said. "Since there was no damage, we elected not to do a drug test. As far as we see it, they beached their own vessel and all they've really done is hurt their ability to make an income."
Back on shore, Roderic, shivering slightly, stared intently at the Two Pirates as people flocked to the spectacle.
"We were very fortunate," he said, gazing down at the wooden footpath where he stood. "This could have been a lot worse."

It looks like they should have traded the "Two Pirates" for "One Pilot" or "One Person Who Knows What The Shit They Are Doing".

That picture brings back memories of when I used to launch ships for the ship yard that I used to work for.
I'll scan some pictures and post them.
