I'm not concerned about you on the straights. You'll win. I'm worried about what happens when that straight turns into a 40 mph 90 degree turn..... Don't want nobody augering and turning themselves into a lawn dart....

I think Jon and I aught to go, he can take his little tack bike, and I will take mine.....we had a good time running through the gap one day, i think the tack would be fun...and neither one of us is slow......might not be fast, but we arent slow...what do ya think there Jon....

Oh yeah . . . I'm about half serious about doing this.... the biggest problem in my mind would be getting the bike over there. K, to EL's good suggestion would shifter karts be easier to deal with? What would I have to go through in order to ship my race bike over there???

i think I could talk Kelly into it, afterall it is JAMAICA......would have to spend some time with the honey...but it would be a small sacrifice....Jon how much did you say shipping would be for the bike....:P

I'll be looking into the shipping. It would not be all that much since it's not far from Miami (probable shipping port). I'm working on a deal with Sandals & Air Jamaica. Too many details to list here. Suffice to say, we may have Sandals Mobay & Air Jamaica decals on the bikes, banners around the track, and a few booths with literture & locals running them.
It'll be SuperMotard, Sportbike, Superbike, Car, Truck, & a Freestyle exhibition with both moto & sportbike guys. Shifter cart could be squeezed in.
As I've been investigating this and talking with more people, it's gone from a couple of bikes over a long weekend, to a full blown event with a lot of logistics to figure out. But it's going to be worth it!

Well, when you get more info I'm sure you'll let us know. Sounds like it'll be on us to get our bikes from our home base to Miami - planned well in advance it shouldn't be a big deal.
I just need to make plans for this around racing season. Can't skip a race for this....or maybe I can! :P
But if done enough in advance I can budget to be sure to be there - unless I'm cordially uninvited ...

The general idea is to use "other" peoples funds. I'm big on that. So no personal budgets need to be considered yet. When I know how much it will cost, and how much I can raise, then the in-fighting will commence as to who's going N/C, and who's being "invited" to participate.

Hell I would ride my track bike to Miami from here to save costs.....and hell I will put all the stickers on my bike that you want, cover the dam thing in them....I just wanna ride....guess I better start working on Kelly now.....th conversation will start something like this "Hey Honey, how would you like to go to Jamaica? We could go to the beach, and waslk in the sand, and oh by the way, I need to take my bike ...."
