Swapping out the swingarm

OK, every time I try to do a search, it just pops up with every thread on the list. So, I'm starting a new one.

I just ordered a new Coby Adams 3-9" extended swingarm. I figured that I would get a head start on figuring out how to swap out the swingarm. I've never done it before.

Here are my questions:

1. How do you guys prop up your bikes for a swingarm swap? Is there any way to do it without having to hang the bike from the rafters? Is the 2x4 under the passenger pegs the easiest way to do this?

2. What is the size of the swingarm hes bolt? I want to make sure that I have the right tools now.

3. Is there anything that isn't in the manual that I should know?
