Kawasaki warranty question
Anyone even heard of a case where kawasaki would warranty
parts and 1/2 the labor?
My first thought is BS.
Can this be true or is the dealer tring to squeeze a few extra dollars for his pocket.

Only heard of this when the machine is past its two year warranty period. Then its a good will gesture on behalf of the importer. Keith

Call Kawasaki and find out. They actually are pretty helpful over the phone.

BULLFUCKINGSHIT. That dealer is trying to line his pockets. There is no 1/2 way point.. they either warranty it or they dont!

I call BULLSHIT! No such thing as a 1/2 labor deal. If KMC would cover the parts, they would cover the labor.

I would like to hear what KMC's CA folks say about it. Keep us posted, please.

In my 7 years at a Kaw dealership, I have seen them agree with a "parts only" deal several times.I would have to question the half labor. In almost all the instances they have agreed to this, the customer had purchased an extended warranty and was within 1 year after it had expired.Good Luck!

Likewise over in the UK. I've been a Kawa dealer for 26 years and have only had a few instances of this when the bike is outside its full warranty and KMUK are making a good will contribution towards the parts and/or labour. This money comes from a fund put aside for deserving cases. i.e. original owner, not excessive mileage, full dealer service history, m/c not neglected (corroded) etc. I always find KMUK very fair with these matters if approached in the right manner.
