Let the record state....
Let the record state that I am proud Eric is gonna ride the Duc next year. At least Ducati will try and put him on a competitive bike. Kawasaki wanted him to work miracles these last couple of seasons. Then when they've got a bike coming out that "looks" as if it could be a race winner they pull the plug on their Superbike effort.
I wanted to see Eboz win a championship for himself and Kawasaki. I know he wanted it in a bad way.

Yep, I'll be rooting for EBoz, no matter where he is. However, this definately ends my support for Kawasaki as a consumer.

Duc Cup Racing! Here we go! Superbikes are not real anyhow. Like Nascars etc. But I like the competeiveness of Supersport & Superstock. So I think I will still support Kawasaki!!! lol

Totally agree that Supersport & Superstock racing is going to be fantastic.
But Superbikes are completely "real" and can be built by mear mortals. Nascar? Not even close.

Well, I'm glad Eric got a good ride this year. I'm really disappointed in Kwak.

Me too thinks that the superbike has come too away from the "real" bikes and add this to the changing rules etc, etc. To me it would be most interesting when the bikes that are racing are different: different brands, different engines:il4, il3, V2 etc. But if the rules are made so that different engines can't compete right there is something wrong. This is why I think that this superstock is the way to go anyway. I like it that the bike is as close to streetbike as possible, because it brings the most benefits to the streetuser = me. But anyway let's hope the racing is good!

"Our decision is to put our team effort behind the Superstock and Supersport series at a time when the AMA's Superbike series is being restructured."
Kawasaki's race boss Bruce Stjernstrom comments on Kawasaki's pull-out of the AMA Superbike class.

Personally I think they are smart!
