denso starter alternative?
hi does anybody know of a alternative starter for my 2003 zx12. the starter is a denso 22163-1302 i need one but not paying £500 for it ?

You ever find one?
There are certainly aftermarket starter makers but not seeing much for the 12.
You get rebuilds like https://ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/Rebuilt-Kawasaki-Starter-Motor-60_224 who knows about stock though.
May be better off taking yours to a local tech to get it rebuilt directly. Plenty of places that mainly rebuilt industrial electric motors that can probably do a starter no problem.
