Those $4.00 5MM Wellnuts
I have to replace about 12 of them from a recent accident, and at $4.00 each I went to the hardware store instead of Kwak to get them .... right 
Nobody carries metric. However I found them for 60 cents each, in packs of 5, just in case anyone else needs them, from the nice people at:

Try a windshield mounting kit. Cheap and most motorcycle stores have 'em in stock. May have to paint the screws, though, but you get the nuts fer cheap.
