Off Topic - Boat Questions
As posted elsewhere also:
I acquired a 19ft Weld Craft Aluminum river jet boat. It has a 200hp Yamaha outboard jetdrive. It has a broken rod and a hole punched in the block.
Here are my choices:
1:Anyone know of a used power head that will fit? Horsepower may vay, I don't care.
2:Anyone know of a good used outboard motor, prop or jet drive?
3: Anyone have a line of where to buy discounted parts to repair this engine?
4:Anyone know where to find used parts for this engine?
I picked this up to repair and sell, so I am not real particular about it, just don't want to spend a ton of money on it and get buried!
It is a cool boat if you are into river fishing. It also is set up for trolling, with a 9.9 Mariner outboard. It has an EZ load trailer under it.

You might be able to get it repaired
I have fixed quite a few blocks with this sort of damage.I have a shop at my house and do mostly boring,shrink fit sleeves into blocks and TIG welding and also repair the type of damage you are talking about.If the block has cracks where you cannot weld them , shit can it. hgmarcum@hotmail.com
