A Muzzys equipped Kawasaki ZX12R set three new Land Speed Records at The East Coast Timing Association's Maxton Monster Mile over the week-end of October 25th & 26th.
The 2000 model ZX12R belongs to Tim Haig, the engine was assembled by Richard Goins of Alcoa Good Times Kawasaki and Tuned by Chris Hill of Performance Psycle. The riders were brothers Zack and Chad Millholland.
Zack's APS/G-2000 class record run was 207.62 mph while Chad set records in APS/G-1650 at 207.64 mph and MPS/G-3000 at 207.50 mph.
Chad joined Zack and their father Dan in the ECTA 200MPH Club on Saturday and the three were recognized as the first father/sons to set national records on a motorcycle at speeds over 200 mph. Dan and Zack were inducted into the ECTA 200MPH club last year on Dan's ZX12R.
The major engine components for the bike consist of Muzzy 1361 cc stroker crank and piston kit, Muzzy race cams & spring kit, Muzzy high flow fuel pump and Muzzy Pro Pipe race exhaust.
In addition to these accomplishments, bike owner Haig has reported over 3,000 trouble free miles on his streetbike since the stroker installation. Not bad for a "streetbike!"
We're proud of our contribution to their effort!
