FNG

Howdy folks,

Just joined the board, and figured I'd say hi --

I live on the mainland and ride an 03 '12R. I used to ride on the Island quite a bit (lived in Nanaimo for 5 years) with Shwartz and Caddilac - (anyone seen those guys?)

Anyway, feel free to snipe, slam or bash....

Later.

No, I didn't make SPW - a whiskey bottle attacked me that weekend. - You on the island or over here?? I used to do the cross island run with a few of the boyz that ran at westwood - had some real good times with those guys - I've made the 176st gathering a few times (if your from over here you know about that one too.)

Up untill recently I rode a black 98 ZX11, when I was on the Island I had a ZX10 and a real nice old KZ1000. Used to hang at Midland High Performance when they were still around....

Anyway, hi to old friends and new, and thanks for the welcome boyz.

Coolness (wadda think of -4C outside?????)

Some great riding (on and off road) around whistler. I'm more out Langley way so I venture t'wards vetter mtn or out to hope for my jaunts.

What year/color did you get? I had to order the black (candy red?) 03 from Blackfoot in Alberta - only green ones here on the coast when I bought mine.

Have you been to Maple Ridge Motorsports to see their drag '12? They got a sweet nitrous setup that I was thinkin about importing onto my own unit...

Anyway, that'll be a spring project...

cruise, i got a silver 00. well, it USED to be silver. now its just naked.

definitely some nice roads from whistler, mostly just headin north tho. quite bored of the 99 south by now & too much traffic. gettin bored of the duffy too. gotta make longer trips to merrit for a good ride.

re the maple ridge bike, that's actually Dave's bike, goes by cowboy on the board. he's always at SBW winning the King of the Hill dyno war

and it aint cold till it gets past -10C. hell, dress right & i'v been in -45 that was pretty comfy (well, my feet were a bit cold).

well, i have done a few days in PG when it was -25 or so. definitely didnt seem that bad. bad the -45 i'm talkin about is at the top of blackcomb in the middle of a storm when we shut down the list (wind blowing 40 to 80+kph). i think it was actuall onl -35. the extra 10C was windchill. cant imagine what even -10 would feel like in van with all the moisture. woudl SUCK!
