You've got to see da BABY!!!!! Here's the new baby I picked up today. Basically a race prepped R6 that's been campaigned in AMA by Ty Howard (I think that was his name). The guy that owned this bike was able to cut 1:21 lap times on it at Hallett race trak in Tulsa, OK. Track record is 1:19. That's NOT to say *I'm* that fast.
Quick list of go-fast parts:
1. Graves Full Ti exhaust system
2. Vortex rear set and clip ons
3. Vortex adjustable triple tree
4. Brembo master cylendar
5. Sharkskinz body
6. Penske shock (the GOOD one with high and low speed damping adjustments! Not sure if it has the Ti spring or not)
7. Traxxion Dynamics front end
8. Fresh rebuild on engine and suspension
9. Billet aluminum engine covers
10. Dyno'd at 109 HP at the rear wheel
11. Lightened flywheel
12. Raised compression ratio
13. Trick 1/8 turn throttle assembly with "T Hayden" engraved on it - supposedly from his works bike :/ NOT on the bike. That has 'high side' written all over it.
14. Full set of gearing
15. Set up for a 160 lb rider. I weigh 165.
16. Scotts steering damper
And other crap.
I'm so stoked. It's just a shame I can't ride it RIGHT NOW. Well...guess we'll just HAVE to do another track day at Texas World, eh? mmmmmmmm.....[slobber]
OR maybe I will just tear up the dirt....decisions, decisions. We'll do Hare Scrambles and turkey runs this winter to keep sharp for the racing season.
And yes, that KTM puts me on my ass before I know what the hell happened. Keeps me on my toes!

dam Jon, when I get to KY next year we will have to find a track in the middle of us and get out and have some fun....I am loving this little 6RR its is a hoot out on the track, but no wheres as fast as that R6 I am sure.....just ordered a set of Supercorsas for it, and am hoping to have the suspension done this winter.......am having a blast with it so far

HDL, yeah, the experienced racers were saying that the suspension is very important. I got a big lesson in that riding my bud's Graves R6 the other day at the track.
Spend all the money you can on a good suspension-fook da race exhaust if you have to choose.
Yer on for fun somewhere!!!!
And the 'green' comment. As I've stated before, my Kawasaki dealer is very good to me (He's also that KTM dealer). Pastor Elk and I will talk to him about 'sponsoring' our race team. It'd be a HOOT to have 'Kawaskai Sports Center' on that R6!!!
