Let's see, they're both from Detroit, have a thing for tools, both kind of geeky looking, I'm thinking there may be some sort of relation here.....

Dam Chris, that is impossible! No way a man can ever have a complete wood working shop, just ask me I know. Still stocking mine and will never get it full,LOL. For example, where is your lathe? shaper? Accu-Spray hvlp system? and the list goes on and on........

Indeed it could go on and on Ozzy. I have not had much interest in turning, maybe down the road but not now, so I'm not concerned about a lathe. As far as the sprayer? I've had pretty good success without one so far and the real problem, well not problem but one thing about a sprayer is having an area that you can use it. My shop is currently my garage and I don't want to go through the hassle of creating a "tent" for srayer use.

Shaper? My router, which now I see I forgot to add to my list up top, does OK for me. I didn't know you were a woodworker Ozzy, do you have any pictures of your work?

wow, with such a nice present, guess u cant get her a bowling ball for her birthday this year eh? seriously tho, thats an awesome present. a good nail gun is absolutely AWESOME when ur doing framing or roofing. i can see u running around to construction sites offering to help out, jsut so u get a chance to really try out ur new toy it jsut feels so good when ur practically running along a new roof just firing the nails in.

and vince, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ya old coot! i know what u mean abotu not feelin it. u see plenty of people who are 60 and look/act it, but plenty who dont. my parents look & act like 50 at most, yet they're both 60 too.

Bowling ball? No way. Actually I just got back from the jewelers at lunch picking out her gift. Her birthday is the 29th, next Wednesday. She has always wanted a nice diamond pendant necklace. So that's what I bought, a beautiful 3/4 ct. (76 pt.) brilliant (ie:round) diamond. VS1 clarity and F color. on a nice gold link necklace. Cost me a good amount cause of the color and clarity but it's well worth it for my wife and mother of my children.

Actually I think that Otis is Mentally Older than me! I have no kids of my own, still waiting for myself to grow up, but Physically, I may look 60, but sometimes I feel 90!! When I was a youngster in my 30's, I gould go on 10 to 15 hours of sleep A "WEEK" now I need that per day!.

Maybe if I had of gotten 6 to 8 back then, maybe I would not need 12 to 16 per day now

I don't like to consider myself grown up, I mean sometimes I have to be, owning a business and all, but ask the fellas from any of the DG trips and they'll tell you how "grown up" I am. LOL I have always wanted to be married and have kids. Being a father is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. Don't worry about anything except being happy Vincent, that's what's important. Personally, I can only hope when I'm 60 I'm wrenching on my own bikes and shooting for hitting 200 mph.

i'm definitely a fan of spending on clarity vs size otis. good choice. a well cut, clear diamond sparkles much more beautifulyl than a larger one of lesser quality. mmmm... diamonds

Thanks Otis! I was tricked by a "Birthday question" "How many Birthdays does an average man have"??

The answer is "1" he celebrates them maybe 70 plus times but only has "ONE"!!
