yes...it is.
GF lives in miami...there werent any marlins fans until about 2 weeks ago...in fact I think they only had an average game attendance of less than 15,000 people.

I was at the base of the left field foul pole in the first row for game six.
My voice is still not right. I was yelling shit all night at Manney Ramierez (sp?) along with about a dozen othersin the imediate area, and it wasnt for an autograph. We were the closest people to that Fat fuck.
I think he got the point.
Something you wouldnt have heard on the tv was the ENTIRE STADIUM was yelling in perfect syncronisity AAAAASSSSS HHHOOOOOOLLLLEEEEE
For the first several pitches to Manney that night. It was perfect.
And then when he came out to left field it started to get personal. I've never heard such angry fans in my life. And I've been to A LOT of yankee games. Several every year. This Manney had everyone in the area yelling nasty shit at him ALL Night. And I mean all night. We were in the first row and I made sure he got the finger every time he looked over at us. He actually smiled at us a few times cause some of the shit people were yelling was so funny. Not flattering, but funny. Man was that a good game, even thou they lost.
Its funny, I've been a yankee fan sence 1976 (age 12) and live a little over hour away from the stadium and have been to many, many games, but ya know, when the series started I actually told my wife that i thought it would be ok if the Red Sox won the whole thing this year. I'd be ok with that. I mean 1918... thats 85 friggin years!
Then Manny and that little weasel pitcher started thier usual shit again.
Pedro hitting garcia and manney thinking he was being threatened by clemens's high pitch, and the whole fucking mess that went on after.
Thats when I changed my mind and said fuck them. They gotta loose now.
What a shame. They ruined a good thing they had going.
So when we went to game six I knew that i was going to be on the wall at the pole and prepared lots of shit to yell at that fat fuck. My wife even couldnt talk after the game. And it takes alot to piss her off. Well not really.
Anyway, Manney will most definately remember the crowd coming back to yankee staduim for the 6th game as the most vocal pissed off loud crowd he has ever seen.
I'll never forget the whole crowd slowly drawing out assssssssssssss hoooooooooole for his first at bat. All 50,000 + It was priceless. I cant even begin to convey the energy in that stadium that night.
Now as for these fish.... well, they better get used to somthing other than 12,000 polite, pepsi swilling, cotten candy eating playoff fans. I wonder if they have any idea what Yankee staduim is like in october. The Red Sux do, all too well.

Maybe if they tear down that old potato barn that they play in and call a stadium and build somthing that holds more than the local politicians and thier goons they might sell enough seats to pay for a real manager that doesnt let his "ace" pitcher call the shots.
