kbryant is holding iout on us! calling him out!
he has noticed "certain" parts are interchangeable with another manufacturer/brand altogether, but he hasnt posted the info.. so I am calling him out! out with it! post yer findings lest ye hold them back any further!

For a moment, I thought you were calling me out on the ZX10 info that I'm not supposed to know about.......
OK, Yamaha R1 owners have some pretty trick muffler hangers. The only difference between bolting these onto a ZX12, is to use 10mm bolts instead of the 8mm that they use. Simply drill out/enlarge the holes in the bracket that's already there.
Also, turn signals. For my R1, I made a set of semi-elliptical plates to fill the stock hole in the fairing when removing and replacing with mini-stalker signals. Well guess what, they fit perfectly in the 12! Pretty strange.

The only pic on the Yamaha website is the '04. Different muffler hangar there with the undertail exhaust.

Go to the Yamaha site, go to accessories, supersport, R1. You'll see the carbon fiber hanger bracket when you scroll down a little.
I made the GYT-R carbon products. So I kinda got to experiment with alot of fitments....
