Almost an Awesome Pic from DGVI......
A local photographer wanted to get some photos of the Smackhouse Crew riding the gap for his portfolio. He's a nice guy and had good intentions, but an error on his part made what would've been a wicked shot of my wife and I motoring through the gap look like a pic from a really cheap digital camera. I still think it's a neat pic, but man if the camera had been set correctly this shot would be priceless.
Gina and I don't let any grass grow under our feet when we get on Lil' Red.

BTW....
Some of us got to see some of the photographers work. The guy is very talented and is capable of much better stuff than you see here. Me thinks he toked on the chronic on the way to the gap, hence the screwed up camera settings.

you are right Rick, that would have been a killer pic, still a good one....Gina has more guts than me, I wouldnt ride with your redneck ass on through the gap.....lol

Rick, I'm still fucking amazed from watching the two of you ride Foothills! We have a shitload of 2'ups around here, but I've never see anybody do that shit. You 2 are smoooooooth.

Thanks for the props. Gina and I love riding the twisties together. We run a pretty fast pace together and you aren't the first person we've suprised.  She had an awesome time riding over there and I did too. We had no scary moments, close calls, centerline crosses, or anything. I never put a wheel wrong all week. Anytime I can come back from a week of riding over there and honestly say that, I'm happy.

help???
Any of you guys know of any possible way to sharpen this image up a little. I have tried what software I've got and it's a lost cause. I don't expect miracles, but I figure there has got to be a way that I can improve it a little???????????

I can try and puy it in my photo software and try to sharpen it up. Don't know how much it will help but I'll give it a try.

Rick, email it to me @ fredzif@aol.com if you want me to try. Send the whole file , the bigger the file the better. (cable modem here)
Shit, for that matter email me any good pics you got. My digital camera spent all the rides in Norm's trunk.
NOTE: next DG actually USE the camera!!

My Mac guys are Photoshop gurus. If you want, they could have you & your partner draggin knees and throwing sparks. Oh wait, maybe the image has already been manipulated and that's why it's blurry.....
