Seems to be a good morning for hackers!

Four different emails:

1. This is the qmail program

I'm sorry the message returned below could not be delivered to the following addresses:

Undeliverable to egstvq@netmail.net

2. I'm sorry the message returned below could not be delivered to the following addresses:

Undelivered message to fyiyfgql@bigfoot.com

3. Microsoft Customer

this is the latest version of security update, the "September 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which eliminates all known security vulnerabilities affecting MS Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express as well as three newly discovered vulnerabilities. Install now to maintain the security of your computer from these vulnerabilities, the most serious of which could allow an attacker to run executable on your system.

4. Same as above.

FYI: Microsoft NEVER EVER sends out updates in email.

They did do a good job on this one.

I had a weird one today too. Something about "You'll like most of this, if not all of it".

The virus scanner on the e-mail didn't pick it. I deleted it without reading it anyway.

Ya know the other thing people need to realize about Outlook, it DO NOT use the "Preview Pane" when going through your e-mail. It OPENS them for partial viewing...uh oh! If you see an attachment from someone you don't know? Delete it...

I see a virus or two almost daily. I think the count is 5-6 this week. Luckily I'm running Norton/Symantic anti-virus & Internet Security that checks BOTH incoming & outgoing, as well as having the firewall turned on.

Something else I use is "Pest Patrol." It's one of those programs that searches your system for hidden cookies, that copy personal info to unknown persons for resale...
