DGVI,.....WHAT A FUCKIN' RIOT !!!!!!!!!

Well I survived another DG Event. It was a hoot, everyone seemed to have had an awesome time. The weather was great, and the rides were TOO MUCH FUN !!!! We had some new faces in the crowd this time and it was cool to meet, and ride with some of you guys. ( & gals ) It was cool that I got to bring my wife along and let her witness the carnage. She had a blast.

I'm sure there will be tons of stories and pictures that come from the event but here are some moments that stick out in my mind.

1. Bart doing the John Force style burnout @ Ruby Tuesday's.

2. Harry and Bart on the front porch that night just dogging the hell outa each other.

3. Harry "freshening" Bart's helmet.

4. Commander Kickstand's appearance on BRP.

5. The various sloppy ass drunk MFs.

6. Norm's "Get rich quick" scheme.

7. Everyone thrashing the shit out of Bart's Ruckus.

8. Jon crashing the Ruckus,.......TWICE.

9. The runs on I-40 between Asheville and 321.

10. Chef Jon's goddamned bloodburgers over at Sherm's place that night. Broke ass wannabe fry cook.

11. All the fuckin' breakdowns.

12. The fucking prick bastard park ranger that totally cast a dark cloud over my vacation by fucking writing me (and Chris) not one, but two citations which mandate that I appear in federal court, IN ASHEVILLE, North Carolina.

It was a great trip, and I did have an awesome time. Getting busted on The Blue Ridge Parkway has got me a bit upset because it is totally up to the judge on my fines and what points go on my record. (which we all know is in sad shape) It's a fucked up deal that I know is about to cost me mucho $$$$ and possibly my license, so it has got me a bit nervous.

Had all the ticket bullshit not happened this would have benn one of the best trips ever for me.

But if I'd got nailed for 1/1000th of the shit I pulled last week I'd be under a jail right now.

Fellas it was a blast and I can't wait to do it again!!!!

You are going to find that local attourneys won't touch Federal Court. Way back (Sep '01), Zhooligan and I were cited by a Forest Ranger. They (FR) totally screwed up the ticket and we ended up walking, but it took two court appearances over a year and a half period. If you can find a lawyer, DO IT. If not, good luck!

Roger that......

swft,
One of my best friends also happens to be my attorney. I talked with him today and when I get the letter from the court in Asheville he will start making some calls. He is already formulating a game plan, so at least I've got some help and ain't wingin' it alone.

I just got the trailer unloaded and checking in. I can't wait for the next Deals Gap, I'd like to thank all of you for making a newbie to the event feel so welcome. Rob and I talked about how much fun and pure excitement we had and how great everybody treated us and how much fun everybody was to hang out with for the whole 6 hour ride home.

That sissy ass Ranger must have had his ass whipped daily in school so now he takes it out on bad ass sportbike riders.

If not for the Ranger it would have been the perfect ride. 321 to Asheville was the thrill of a lifetime.

Thank all of you for making Rob and I feel so welcome.

85 in a 45 (BRP)
He said anything over 72 mph on the parkway made it mandatory that you appear in court. This federal court stuff is "somewhat" new to me. He said I had no options being that I live in Tennessee, but Chris who lives in Michigan may be able to work something out in the federal court in Detroit.(because of the distance he'd have to drive????) I guess being that I'm only 550+ miles from Asheville I get no options. I'm kinda skeptical about that because this guy had a major attitude problem. I.E. , I'm not taking his word as law at this point and time. I will exhaust other options as they become available.

As we all know it boils down to one thing, and one thing only, the almighty dollar. Sad but true, I played, now I will pay.
