CF all the way from the land of poi?...no one makes a product like that here in SoCal or Fla?...in the meca of hyperspeed sportbikes and aftermarket?...just wondering, man...I'd be real curious...especially seeing an expensive part you want to put on your 12R being displayed on dirt with toes in the picture no less!...you only get one chance to make a good first impression...and the 'disappearing act' when trying to communicate?...I know Hawai'i is kick back and laid back...I should know...I'm a transplanted kanaka...but this?...as they say in the islands: "ho bruddah...how come li'dat?"

I use to make carbon components for Yamaha's GYT-R divison. The airbox we made for them retailed for close to $500. This was a complex piece. We made two versions, one using an autoclave, and one using vacume bag. Both were made with "prepreg", and not wet layup.
I have not seen any specs on what material, resin, thickness, etc. But if this is a quality product, and you're paying $400 - $600, you are getting the deal of a lifetime. I could not come anywhere near making it for that price. Hell, even making cheap splash tooling would be a pain! Has anyone actually tried the product or seen it first hand?
