...not quite Munich, but it'll do for now....
...TOO COOL!...a motor-journalist super friend of mine calls me and says, "I have a BMW X-5. Its got a $3500 BMW motorcycle trailer attached to it. There's a K1200RS on the trailer. Gotta test it...Wanna go?" YEEEEE-HAW!!!!!!
So I suit up and make a 60-mile rocket run to his house in clear but chilly weather.....and there it is...The Ultimate Combo...the ute, the trailer, the bike...all color matched blue...the trailer has a disappearing retactable ramp (like a U-haul box van set-up)...ok ok ok...let's GO already!!!!
...hmmmm...very interesting...not as furiously quick or fast as my "stock" 17/48 geared, full muzzy, pc3, k&n'd personal acceleration device....BUT....it's a great machine for swift, quiet sport touring...very smooooooth when under way and very comfortable ergos for THIS rider...heated grips, cruise control, height adjustable windscreen, handlebar adjustable for reach fore/aft, and a cool front end that doesn't dive under braking...so there I was....I was touring high up in the Alps...a gorgeous leggy damsel wrapped around my back, telling me how wonderful I am...(poooof!!!....wake up fool!)
...all in all a totally zero-fatigue bike good for hours and miles of riding in a single day for THIS rider...about the only things that bugged me were the non-intuitve turn signal switches (please BMW...they're needlessly complicated)...and the scalloped seat that locks this fat-assed rider in one seating position (easily fixed through diet or reconfigured seat shape)....and HELL NO I WON'T SELL MY ZX-12R!...its a definite keeper no matter what else is out there!

What kind of psychedelic sleeping pills did you take?
I would like a BMW again to tour on but if I do get one ,it won't be a new one.Good dream you had ,sounds like you woke up a little too soon.
