RaceTech Question

Has anyone here had their rear shock rebuilt by RaceTech? Wondering if they are worth it or is a Ohlins that much better? Of course the Ohlins is twice the price but is it twice the performance of the RaceTech or stock shock? Thanks!

a buddy of mine uses Race tech shock and fork springs on his sons SV650 race bike....it works like a dream, and a bit cheaper than buying a new Penske, or Ohlins.....

I called Lindemann Engineering and he has a deal on Penske and Fox right now for $650. Is your buddy happy with the Penske?

Talk to "Ash" @ RaceTech. Tell him I sent you there. They are right around the corner from us, we use them personally, and do good work.

Jim (Lindemann) does good work also and you really can't go wrong with Penske or Fox.

Bottom line - how much do you want to spend? Ash @ RaceTech can make to stock work great and anyway you want it to. As good as the Penske or Fox? No. But unless you're a complete track guy getting everything possible out of the 12, I think the modified stock shock/forks does the trick for less money. I've ridden with all three, plus with a WP Shock. No doubt, the aftermarket shocks work better. What's your primary goal and or use for the bike and what's it worth to you? JMO

Thank you sir...Appreciate the help. I think I will go with RaceTech. To me its not worth the money to spend $700 for mainly street riding and maybe a track day here and there.
