Surgery....
went in yesterday for my hernia surgery....turns out it was worse in there than they thought. They doctor made 6 incesions and put in a mesh screen the size of a plate between my intestines and the muscle wall. Hope this heals up fast, I cant even sit here and check the board for more than a few minutes. Tried to trow a let over the bike today...aint no way, not yet....gonna take me a few days to a week to be able to get on it. Keep ya'll popsted...Jim

Sorry to hear about this brother.  Don't rush getting back in the saddle and cause further injury to yourself. Give it some time dude. Though I know it's messin' with you being that we are on the brink of DGVI, you gotta be careful and let your body heal.

thanks bro...I am good....just hate feeling like I cant do anything....just lay around and watch TV...I hate it......but its cool, I will be good by DGVI, just have to chill when I ride is all....

jon yer so slow even if I had surgery the day before DGVI I am still fast enough that you wont see anything but taillights......later muh man....

amen Chris.....gonna take my time....I will be good enough to ride for the gap, but I will be far from 100%.....what sucks is the weekend following, we have another track day at the track. Might have to have my buddy go out and push the bike to sort out that rear shock.....got to get it set up. and try to get the new sprocket on it......getting 11, 000 rpms out of it at the end of the front straight...I need to get 13000 out of it.....am thinking of going up 2 or 3 on the back....what do you all think?

The guy I raced the FunnyBike for had multiple surg. for his Hernia-s...
Even with the screen...his deal didn't go so well...he was always putting his hand down his pants to "push his guts back in"...EEEEEEK!!!!!!
LET IT HEAL!!! DON'T RUSH ANYTHING!!!
After seeing Pauly that way...I'm thinkin you only have one shot at healing "right"

i hear ya kevin, and I am not wanting to go through this again...so I will take it easy....was down at your shop a few weeks ago. A buddy wanted to know where it was. We rode down there and I showed it to him, but it was a sunday and you all were closed.....but now he knows, and I think he is gonna bring in his bike to be mapped as well.....later...Jim

going without meds today...gonna try it and see how I do.....not to bad so far....laughing is a new expierence in pain though.....

fukn sucks......today is my first day with out the pain meds and its not to bad unless I laugh or cough...so i try not to do either.....lol

hey Fuk Harry....gonna bust his guts, and his heart when I see him up at the gap......Harry dont scare me....cept when I think about falling in that Grand Canyon of and ass he has......I will just wear a safty rope......lmfao....
Not so bad today....made it trough yesterday with no meds. Dont hurt quite so bad today...hopefully I will make the memorial ride tomorrow around town here. That will be a god indicator if I am ready to make a real ride or not.....not going to push myself again..this being the fourth hernia surgery I have had, I am not looking forword to another.....
