The R1 looks good....but sure looks like a mostly computer generated job to me.

IMO honda missed the mark on styling this time. the tail looks of, but the side fairings just look... i dont know, kinda old. and that one paintjob is horrid.
as to the R1, would definitely be less of a departure from the current model than previous mockups have suggested. there are a couple points about the pics that dont quite ring true, but cha never know.

YIKES!!!!
I think the R1 looks sweet, but that CBR is a fuckin' turd with 2 wheels IMHO. 
I'm with Sherm,....I will also welcome the R1 to the world of ram air. It's about friggin' time.

I kinda like the CBR...if it looks anything like the 600 it is gonna be a nice bike....Hope they shave some dam weight off of it.. its a bus compared to the other bikes.

the CBR 929/954 is a bus? Are you sure?
I seem to remember 360 or 370 somthing pound claimed dry weight. It was less than the cbr 600 if i remember right.
I always thought they were just to conservative with the hp they gave the 929/954. They should have given it 10-15 more hp. But Honda doesnt like to be a litagation target being the largest bike maker with the deepest pockets. The bloodsuckers havent moved on the bike industry yet. But its just a matter of time.

was refering to the CBR600RR as compared to the other 600's, and it is a bus compared to the others, almost 30lbs heavier than the 636. A 600 that weighs in at over 400lbs is not the standard, but you cant argue with the way it handles.
The 954 isnt even a debateable subject for me...I dont like it and never have, that is why I am waiting to see what the new CBR1000 is gonna be like....
