Oh man, a guy brought his V-star into the shop the other day to have his idle adjusted and while I was helping him I noticed that his front rotors only had brake pad marks on the outer portion of the disk.
I asked him how the front brakes were working and he told me he tried them "once" and they seemed "grabby" so he only uses the back brake.
I explained to him that he should really start working on learning the front brake so he doesn't end up locking the back brake in an "emergency" and ending up like that biker in the picture, skidding out and sliding down the road using his whole body as brakes.
People scare me sometimes.
