19 Tooth Sprocket Install!
Courtesy of Jim Owens!
1 Pic is the 18 tooth fittment and chain Guard
Second pic is the 19 tooth with the chain Guard uncut!
The 3rd is with the cuard cut!
See Bergie post below!
I am having trouble posting these pics, As you can see in the pictures, it only takes about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch removed from the stock guard!

Uhh vince, you have to host the file on the web for us to see them, not your local hard drive path of file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Vincent%20Hill/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/Content.IE5/OPEFSTUJ/141-4176_IMG.JPG
send me the file, I can post it up for you.

From 47 down to 45! (Depends on how much power I am making and how short I want to make the wheelbase) I hate this long wheelbase!

I am now at work and can see nothing even at the Host site! Figuring that this is the problem, I e-mailed the pics to Bergie for him to put up. The deal is that the clearance is not much different then the 18 tooth!

Here are the photos that Vince sent.
1st picture is 18 tooth clearance
2nd is 19 before removing the 1/8 to 3/16th radius
next is after he removed 1/8" clearance

Thanks Bergie! As you can see, it is not as bad as it was reported to be for clearance!

Now you will most likely get me into trouble for answering this one. I have 3 reasons. #1, with a 19 front, it saves the cost of "Three" (3) Rear sprockets! (If you have a 47, 46, 45, 44, to equal "18-43' = 19-46! "18-42"= 19-45 and "18-41"= 19-44)! The 19 cost $35, the three rears cost $225 and is a lot easier to carry!
I also feel that the "Tighter" you bend the chain around a turn, the more power you lose and the shorter the chain life! Rich people cannot understand the need for the 19 because they can get the same gearing with the rear sprockets!
I did mention 3 reasons! The last reason is, the smaller the front and rear sprocket, the more the chain rubs the swingarm near the pivot point! (Specially on long arms that have any real travel!
