PING...Mr.BLINK...Sir!
Bark...BARK!!!
Just heated her up for the first time and all I can say is...HOLY Freekin Chit!!!
NEVER...heard a 12 rev so quick before...TOTALY by accident I took it to 6,000...all I did was
"move the throttle" like I normaly would to rev "a normal ZX12" to 3 or 4K
I pluged in the YoshBox to start it just because we know "it ran good" with it before...forgot what maps were what (I used #1) but that doesn't matter does it
I'm gonna put the chain on her now and do the first miles (2nd heat cycle) and play with the map #s down low (throttle % ) while I'm riddin it
Oh boy...oh BOY!!!

Thanks Kevin!!!
Once you give it to me I'll put the 500 miles on it, change the oil and filter and bring it back so you can tune it and let it rip. I',ll bring it back in about 5 hours, I'll have to let it cool down a bit.

Uh...probably not, been riding a scooter for almost 4,000 miles now. Too used to wrenching the throttle to the stop, could be dangerous now.
SWFT, the rods are the H beams but the pistons are a lot lighter than the old 1270 pistons, the crank was lightened a bit and the balancer has been removed.

I have a Pingel wheelie bar so I am going to race it a couple of times at the strip, a couple of motor runs and then the Stealth. Unless of course I become hopelessly addicted..again. Mostly, it is a street bike, which I use to escape from my own mind. When I ride there is nothing else, no distractions, no second guessing.
I actually watched Biker Boyz so I don't think I could beat a Busa unless the rider let me. Certainly I wouldn't be able to stop as quick.

Stealth Kit is why I got to build the motor...
This is the bike that holed a piston on the dyno
It started as a Custom Map session...then a couple of pulls on spray...
Something wasn't right in the fuel side of the system (obviously) and it TORCHED right through all three rings on the 1270 piston that was in it AND almost into the water jacket of the block :EEK
I had nothing to do with the instal so I have no idea what wasn't right...I will FOR SURE go through the entire system before the buttom ever gets pushed (by me)
After being here all night last night...I HAD to sleep today ...just got here...will instal chain, ride on dyno, map some and then RIDE IT some
