Doug Meyer?? Stumble anyone
Hey Doug or? Anyone with this answer to a stumble from a dead stop rolling on at about 1000 rpm? We (my brother and I ) have a stumble on our 02 12R's They have Muzzy pipes Power Commander 3 R's K&N's. We just had them dynoed at a shop here in So. Cal. 179.5 Hp for one and 175.5 for the other. The fellow who did this is very experienced and has found that a few he has tuned have done this. 02's only. No biggie but were picky that's all.
RIP Zhoo!

Have you synched the throttle bodies yet??
Sometimes that will help, but a DJ-250 in the hands of a GOOD tuner will surely fix it!!

Sometimes it takes "extra TLC" to map that area...also between 2-3K...
I spend extra time just on those areas...NOT easy on some 12s...

Yep. Got that problem, too. Hopefully when I get my map done it will go away *crossing fingers*

just got my bike back from Kevin, (kcadby) he mapped my bike and synced the throttle bodies, and whatever other magic he could work on it. The bike is still a little dead right off idle, but its not a stumble. but once it comes off Idle it runs like a scolded dog. Kevin got it to put out 180.1 hp, and its with a full Muzzy system, PCII, K&N filters, and a Muzzy adjustable timing advace set about 4-5 degrees if I remember correctly. I am under the impression that the Muzzy is notorious for that dead spot. Like Kevin said, with some TLC, and the right guy behind the computer, you should be able to work it out fairly well. By the way, thanks again Kevin....I appreciate all you did for me, and I have a buddy taht I am gonna get down there with his HOG so you all can make it run right, if that is possible. It is afterall a Harley....lol Jim
