I respect all of you, thats the reason i came here asking your opinion first, before i went out and bought me a bike. My brother is 25 has been riding since he was sixteen and wiped his Vulcan out not to long ago, and all though it does have balls, it is quite a bit heavier, whereas these bikes have a lot of balls and are quite a bit lighter, adding more equations to the problem. So as i said, i might just go with the Kawasaki, my bro has sitting in his garage (if they can fix it) and ride that around and buy the gear. By the way, RedElk, thanks for the lengthy sermon, i listened (read) every part of it, not scanned. Although many of you have given me positive feedback, i think his was the most informative, actually gave me some direction to go with gear. Again i thank you all, just like i have before and i will be posting more often when i finally get squared away on what i want to do.

Please do keep us posted and I'm sure all of us here would be more then happy to share our opinions concerning any question you might have about gear or bikes. Though we are a 12R forum, no everyone here owns just a 12R, or even owns a 12R.

redelk, Wow! Incrediable post. I'd only add that the single most important aspect regardless of bike size, gear, experience, etc, is the connection from the brain to the right wrist or vice/versa.

How true. I know my "Software" gets a virus from time to time and the only way to fix it is to reload the entire program. My "Norton" virus shield sure doesn't work at catching it. I think it's just too old and slow. So I completely purge the system. After completing the purge, the system seems to operate fine again; until Sunday mornings when it seems to consistently have a mind of it's own. Have you checked your hard drive? I think that's where my problem is.....
