I saw a set of these this weekend at the Dyno show in Socal. Definetly catches your eye. I think you still need the overall size of a large rotor to help keep them cool and keep a more consistently large area. I think they are so close together they'd also share some heat transfer on both the rotors and caliper. Cosmetically though, they are definetly different. I do like there calipers. I'd just use them on big rotors.

The question remains how much stopping power is too much? That does have promise; lighter more surface area better stopping power, still kind of expensive. Are you going to try them?

If you get a chance to ride a Buell with the Rim brake, do it. It will surprise you how much a "single" disk works. I think most people whine about the mushy feel, but that could be brake lines or bleeding. Pretty high trick factor though.
