PC3R setup question
I just houked up my PC3R to the 12 , start ok
but i can't connect with the pc on com 1 and 2.
Can't find power commander..? 
A trick? 
i tried with the bike started and ingnition on.. but nada..

I have had some success with only bringing up the application AFTER the bike is already turned ON.
Other than that, I presume you're confident that the cable is good?? (same old cable? some look normal but are 'null' cables with transmit and receive flipped around at one end)

The cable should be good since is brand new ...but it's a good question i wonder now..

Where did you buy your PowerCommander from? Since Fish is a paid consultant, perhaps you should ask him?

I didnt know I was getting paid. Can I have money now?
GOZR... try what BA is suggesting... turn on the bike and then try booting the computer into the app... you should fwd your questions to tearnitup who will actually help you (and is paid) and dont bother listening to swft (who is bitter)

With bike running and computer hooked up to PCIII, go to port menu in PCIII module and pick "auto", it should pick up whatever port the cable is hooked to.

ok i did everything has they said spend so much time on trouble shooting my pc and veryfying my hardwares..
Finaly this morning went to buy a serial cable , shielded and all the crap with it and bingo! it worked..
so the cable from the pc3r ( new under plastic )was dead ..
Good stuff to know if someone has the same trouble

Hey Fish! i heard that Vancouvert is a very nice looking city. some says that it's even nicer than S-F..
