After reading the questions, I didn't know how to vote!! It would be great if Kawi would bring him back, but he needs some new material to work with. Kawi has to make a decision? They're GP effort in nothing short of humiliating. Still haven't heard for sure if the production ZX10 is on the way. The engineers screwed up the 6RR. I'm not sure if I'd want to come back. There's always the challenge though.

Funny how ExtremeLean hasn't chipped in. I doubt he's for real. Rob's involved with the KR Proton bike, so why should he want to take on another effort? And his efforts in drag racing are really paying off this year, with riders leading in several classes. Here's another way to look at it:
Drag Racing - Muzzys manufactures and sells almost all the components that they use to produce race and series winning bikes. These parts are track-tested by winning riders and getting your paws on them is as simple as visiting the web site or picking up the phone.
Road Racing - Muzzys would be under strict obligation (in a factory backed team) to turn over development information to the factory, wouldn't be able to manufacture and sell anything that would compete with the factory race kits, and lastly, would only get the good stuff for the bikes at the whim of Japan (witness Colin Edwards, WSB, last year HRC).
So which would you choose? And environment where you get to freely innovate and sell what you develop, or be stymied by inadequate parts and information, and have to turn over all your hard-earned information to a faceless corporate entity? Much as I love roadracing, I just can't see how a factory team effort can really help your business.

Come on now Swft Muzzy could make a fortune selling 10 ear old technology!

Is that '10 year' or 'tin ear' ??
In either case, I'm sure Fish has a great map for those ZX7Rs! He's just a wiz with a PC3R!

From what I have been told, it is.

If Kawasaki has good sense, they would just leave Mr. Muzzy alone and send him a package with money in it from time to time and a Note! Spend this any way you see fit and please do something with the ZX6R so we can win some races and thank you for all that you have done so far! Of course we will never admit that you helped us because that is what the money is for!

The AMA Team has actually approached at least one tuner that I know of. But honestly, when the whole program has the stigmata of "LOSER" written all over it's forehead, who would want to be a part of it?
