layoff soon....
I've mentioned this before, but now (finally) running out of work...for the summer at School District job. So, looking again...maybe willing to relocate for right job:

15yr Field Service Tech w/certs on "everything" hardware
I fix most all brands pc's, laptops, printers, laserjets, etc.
8+ yrs Service Manager/Dir. Training/projects/onsite lead/etc.
tech recuiter/procurement/sales/u name it i do it/done it
fix ~everything, 'cept programming/high end networking....doh!
getting laid-off next week f/Dell admin/repairs/teaching job (sniff)
Old fart, reliable family man, rider since 60's, I can teach riding too!
I'm in the mid-eastbay if anyone's interested, PM me....
That's about the quickest resume I ever wrote...

I started to make the question harder by putting in Gore's name, but I do not think even I could answer that question. (I could not stand to hear Gore speak, it just wore me out!)
BTW, I have asked this question several times before and it is not easy to answer.

Yo dave...I dunno if this is what you are lookin for..but I pulled this off another local sportbike board
I have a Client looking for 5 Help Desk Agents to start like Monday! The jobs will be based in Jax, between Jax, and Orlando. I think 2 are definitely in Orlando. 3 moonth Contract to Hire with pay $15/hr up to 2yrs experience and $18/hr for 3-5 yrs experience then negotiate salary once contract period is over. Put in an ap at IGT (they only take electronic aps) great company, all sorts of technical jobs. I will be more than happy to put in a good word for you if you use me as a reference. I think the website is igt.com

Dave, As someone who's been in the m/c industry longer than most, you could be a rare find for a m/c aftermarket company. I know I always look closer at the multi-talented, than the one-dimentional. You being an obvious computer geek, and a motorcycle junkie is a desired employee and find. Just some suggestions kinda in your neck of the woods. WPS (Western Power Sports) in Rancho Cordova. CCI (Custom Chrome) in Morgan Hill. CCI is owned by Global Motorsports group, who also owns Motorcycle Stuff and Chrome Specialities. Motorcycle Stuff has warehouses in CA and is Sportbike oriented. You can also check out the Cycle Gear Chain. They now have about 30 stores, lots in the Bay Area, and are primarily "employee owned". Just some thoughts. You can drop my name and have them give me a call if you get your foot in the door. I'll put in a good word for old time sake. Keep the faith.

I will be contacting some of you guys soon as I have a chance...working my ass off right now: "we must get everything done while we still have you"...."yes ma'mam..."
Just switched me to 4 days, 10 hrs a day. Luckily I'm close enough to come home for lunch & read my mail! Running out of work tho, surely done by Friday it looks right now....
Least I'll get a vacation. Thinking of riding up the coast to Astoria or something...

Oooooh. Looking at Mapquest that would make a nice ride. Hang a right at Mt. Shasta onto hwy 97, & take that North thru OR (visit Muzzys too) almost all the way to your place...
