talkin to fox hill
well i got a most unexpected call today. ddpete3 called me, standing atop fox hill (laguna seca for the uninformed). he needed me to look a local pizza joint so they could have pizza delivered to fox hill. too fuckin funny. apparently the weather is gorguos. they'r not even sufferin the traditional freezing nights & soaked in dew mornings. fuckers  of course, u know the weather woudl suck if _I_ were there. *grumble mumble*
anyway, hi to all teh fox hill crew. guess they'll be breaking camp tomorrow. safe trip home to all!

...just pulled in to my casa...ddpete3 and I left foxhill about 1:00pm...2271 miles later from July 5th thru July 14th...thanks for the assist with the pizza # info...smaller crowd this year, but still had fun...hitting the sack now...more to come later from the others I'm sure...

damn, back already? figured u'd take ur time a bit. bet it feels good to be home tho! too bad i didnt get ta say hi on the phone. hope fish said hi to everyone for me; not sure if he really heard me say so. i'm dyin for pics over here!

...yeah but I don't return to the grind for another 7 days...ddpete3 missed his lady badly so we opted to push homeward last night (I think the effect of seeing all the airbrushed and breastesess enhanced wimminz at the track made him feel so horrrrny  )...I missed my dog, but in a different way  ...and he needs to be out of the 'pet resort' by Tuesday morning anyway...
..besides, I'll get to ride a bit more around here and mess around with my KLR as well...can't wait to install the large Brembo disc, SS lines, and pads on that sucka'...
..I had one close call yesterday on HWY 1 when I legally passed a group of cars (Doug had already passed the same group of cars)...oncoming traffic was closing in much faster than anticipated...I probably had less than two seconds to avoid a head-on collision with a closing speed of triple digits as I squeezed back into my lane in front of the last car...we're talkin' air molecule close...yeah, I shat, but ya' gotta love the power of the 12R ..other than this it was a fun week, even in Africa hot Sacramento and Plcerville...
...the race just happens to be background...it was more like a chance to hang out with old friends and ride a bunch of gorgeous roads

....sorry, man...although it didn't seem like the 'usual' crowd of people, by that I mean it was a smaller attendance and almost 'subdued' compared to last year and theyear before last...but the people who were up there there were definitely cool and fun to listen to and hang with...maybe next time, eh?...
