Hi Rickey...Kevin here...
Those 60" bikes are "getting down there" now...
I wish YOU and or Ryan could have also ridden both bikes for the tests...It's obvious that Shine likes Bbusa better (I can relate to the height problem myself)...I'm sure you and Ryan are more comfy on the 12s also...that's why it would have been nice to see both brands with both brand/riders on them...
I have to say...it pissed me off when the editor wrote that the Bbusa-s "launch better" (not sure that's the QUOTE) that's just NOT true IMO...I'm NOT going to say the 12s launch better either but...it wasn't right for them to say that...
Welcome to this board Rickey ...

hey kev he must of forgot about the 2" advantage. to guys like Rickey and Shine that would make a diff on launch. that must be why he is giving the launch to the busa. but if you look at shine on the 12 60' time is nothing like what rickey or ryan could do . in the real world we know the 12 will run the busa down like he stole something from you. we know and they know.

I can understand them when they say that Kevin because the busa has that torque and you can launch 1.60s everytime from 2000rpm....no double clutch action stuff and pissed out revving like on the 12. I like my 12 like no other bike, but the busa just seems easier to launch. its got a little more wheelbase from stock too

It's just that (to me)...the clutches react/FEEEL so much different between the 2-bikes that it would be easy to fall into prefering (and doing better) on the bike that you are used to...
Bbusa clutches feel VARY strange to me compaired to the 12...I have yet to have enough runs Bbusa-s to actually feel comfy with the feel of the clutch...I don't think that I have more than 15 runs on Bbusa(s)...no more than 5 or 6 per session either so...I'm NOT comfy on them...yet...
Can't wait for Ryan to get his motor together because I'm sure I'll get several runs on it...and it will have at LEAST 220HP (before we spray it)

Speaking of HP I'm no longer convinced that 200, 210, or 220+ rwhp is needed to go fast (and quick). Most of the 60" bikes are making sub-200 rear-wheel ponies on motor and just spraying the shit out of them. Datapoint- Josh Davis's bike supposedly makes 185 n/a but runs solid 8.60s @ 168 at 60" wheelbase. Granted it can't hurt, but I think next time I'll put my $$ into R&D with the progressive controller and track time rather than big $$$ engines..

I agree...MORE SPRAY!!!
It was Ryan's choice to build a "larger" motor...
But 220+ plus 200=??? just kidding

Hi Rickey...
Welcome to Bikeland....
You put down an awesome time with your 60" ZX12, that is just crazy that a 60" bike can go that fast. But I like it!!! Once again Congrats on the run..
