carpenter 1290
How much horsepower are you getting? How fast is it in the quartermile? I'm having one built right now and was curious to what kind of numbers you fellas were getting. thanks in advance

I might be off base here, but from I understand, the majority of folks here have used the Muzzy 1270 or 1360 kits. Have you tried asking over at the Dragbike Zone forum?

Rest assured, Carpenter makes strong engines!! Only negative I ever heard was he is on the expensive side!

Ive heard of Carpenters 1290s doing 127mph in the 1/8th with a good rider. little shot of juice (~40hp) and 135mph + shouldnt be a problem.
