Maxed out fuel rail?
Hi guys,
I think I ran into a wall with my with zx12 fuel rail and wondering if anyone else ran into this problem? Stock fuel rail around 400hp on e85. I know I'm about out of injector and pump but really think it's my rail. My IN into the fuel rail is in between 3 and 4 and my OUT is between 1 and 2. I unfortunately fried 1 (bad) and 2 last weekend and I want to find the smoking gun. Strange 3 and 4 ran perfectly which makes since the rail can't flow that much and would start showing a pressure first at one? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be shocked if the rail ran out of thruput before the stock injectors, but I'm not a tuner so what do I know. I presume you've already checked if the rail (or fuel line leading up to it) is partially plugged at all? And tested that your fuel pump is flowing correctly? Seems jumping the gun to think rail before checking the more likely items are working as expected.

Ping KZScott, he recently posted up near 500hp with his 12R. Not sure if on stock rail or not.
I would love to hear more about your setup though. Turbo? What injectors and pump? And how is the E85 working for you? What AFR you running?

the stock rail is fine if modified for 1000cc inj. take off the inlet fitting, drill the rail where its tiny (you will see it) and weld on a -6 fitting.
