Nutec Sp5: tune-up in a can!!!!
I pull my bike to the track with a bashed up '94 Linc Mk8, and don't spend a dime on it that isn't absolutely required to keep it running, virtually NO routine maintenance, 130,000 mi.
Over the last 6 mo or so, it was taking progressively more starter time to fire up and I was figuring on having to get the injectors checked, etc, i.e. actually have to spend some cash on it.
BUT!!!!
A week ago I dumped several gallons of Nutec SP5 which had been diluted a bit w/pump gas (slop gas from track/street, Nutec/pump gas changeouts) into my ole hot rod Lincoln and WHOA!!!! Starts up immediately, idles smoother, runs great!!!!
I suspect that the Nutec cleaned out the injectors but who knows????

It cleans the CRAP (and whatever else ) out of EVERYTHING IT TOUCHES!!!
Brock told me they're 600SS lost power after a race...they tore it down and the RINGS WERE RUSTED!?!?!?
Nuetec cleaned everything (including any oil) off of the pistons/cylinders...
NOW...they run "regular" gas through the bikes at the end of EACH DAY...NOT the end of the weekend...

No such thing as horsepower in a can! And when I have people tell me that I just grin and pour some more Nutec in. It is amazing fuel. Burns the shit out of your eyes and lungs in the dyno room!

Be careful of those kickass fuels, most will gum-up your entire fuel system within a couple of days...kcadby is correct...flush fuel system each DAY!!

VP MR9 will make more power than Nutec and is not as corrosive, you can leave it in the bike without damaging rubber lines and o-rings.

well, I have used nutec weekly at the track for a couple years and have called the Nutec tech on this issue. They say a couple weeks in the bike is not a problem, and I have had no problems with gumming up my system, even after leaving it in for several weeks. I do occaisonally heavily dilute the sm amount in the tank w/pump gas and run it thru the system.
I will check the pressure my fuel pump puts out, but I think the whole issue of Nutec "gumming up" a FI motor is a bit overblown. Drain daily? Not until I see some negative impact...
BTW, my motor has been apart several times for "upgrades" and each time I look for corrosion on injectors, rings, etc, and rubber going bad on fuel lines but so far I cannot detect ANY damage. I also change my oil often and have never smelled any gas in it. Go figure????

Bergie,
have you done tests which show this? Nutec SP5 (and SP4 in olden days) adds 5-7% hp across the rpm range on my 1427.

In a pinch had to use some ERC 103 in my lawn mower. Then I got out the screwdriver & twiddled w/the mixture screw while it was running. instead of: brrrrrrrrrrrr.......it went bbbrrrrrrr.........wwaaaawweeeEEEEEE!!!
Mowed the whole lawn in a record 5 minutes; never did it so fast.
Next time I pulled & pulled, & that mower never ran again. I tink I burnt it up...tossed it....was fun mowing that time tho...

Thanks! Will be interesting to see! BTW, did you talk it over with Fish? He's an absolute wiz with PC3Rs, and would be happy to help you dial it in with that fuel.
