What to do with it..
A friend of mine gived me the bike a long time ago and she never could find back the pink slip.
Now i wonder what to do with it? the bike didn't start for the past 7 years..
Get involve also in drag racing with it for fun?
Or exchange parts to
Use my 1987 1100 gsxr to drag race instead ?
SFO can help me to machine the parts at the shop in S-F..
Beside my zx12 project.
what do you think? i'm creazy..

OK, This is my humble opinion:
1) Change the oil
2) Replace the battery
3) Any other hassle is probably bacause you've got "varnishes jets", i.e. you've got a whole lot of shit in your carb
If you can, shove your carb bodies in an ultrasonic cleaniing bath ( could do with one mself),

Dude, put your GSXR front and rear ends on it, do some minor maintenace to get the bike running. I'll bet you'd have a blast with it. Is it fuel injected?

Yes it is but i have also some older CR 38 mn on the garage..
On the Gixer i have inverted forks with hayabusa wheels and brake but i'm still have the original parts of the gixer..

I'm restoring an old 1980 Honda CB-750 F right now, only problem you'll prolly have is the carbs.... what a PITA to get them clean...

The GPz1100 of 83'/84' is the basis for many pro-stock bikes still raced today (just like the GS1150.) I think parts will be hard to find; but it would make a bulletproof drag bike IF you put the good parts into it. Both Muzzys & APE made/sell many parts for that engine (I'm not sure Muzzys still has stuff for that bike? Doug?) I had two of them, roadraced one & dragraced the other...
Man, we need to ride & have lunch someplace & chat about it...I knows that bike inside & out...
