Don't know exactly when they open but it also can change. But of course the closing is determined by the amount fuel needed (ie throttle) not by cranksaft position. Where do you need that information?

yes, closing would be govened by gasoline % required, my bad, lol,,, opening can change, ?? why, i thought it would be constant,, in relation to intake cam opening,,

I said it could change. On many cars that is a tuning parameter because it affects how the fuel gets burn. On older 16bit ECU's there doesn't seem to be map for that so basically it probably happens when ECU has been able to calculate the fuel amount. So on low RPM:s it' a little bit earlier than on high RPM:s. On the later 32bit's there could be a map for that allthough doesn't remember to read from it anywhere so maybe there isn' so it actually is quite constant.

In the other rider's defense the 14R and the rider are paying a noticeable weight penalty. As the speeds get above 190 the differences aren't as apparent between us.
