zx12 build
Ok I have a 2000 zx12 that I had a 1427 motor on the clutch basket exploded and tear up the hole motor so know I'm doing another build all my buddy's say let that dang zx12 alone and get a busa if you wanna go fast but I can't let it go I like being the under dog and I know the damn thing will run I'm doing a full drag bike this time so any and all comments are welcome I just want this thing to fly.
My first question is what all I need to make the motor hold up to a 150 shot of dry nitrous
Next what all to take off to shave weight ect
Next motor combo I do have some things but would like to hear what you all got to say thank for all comments

Can't weigh in on what it takes to get the bike to hold up with a big shot like that on a stroker.
Dropping weight:
Lightweight wheels and rotors (single rotor up front for a drag bike)
Lightweight battery
Aluminum rear sprocket
Remove bar ends and mirrors
Fender eliminator
Lightweight/removed charging system for a full on drag bike
Lightweight fuel tank.
Fiberglass race seat
Solo tail (front and rear seats are each about 3 lbs exactly)
Race upper fairing drops about 6 lbs by removing headlight.

Biggest gains I would think would be the lighter wheels and lower/lighter seat in terms of significance.

is zx10 wheels consider light weight wheels thanks for the reply

They are noticeably lighter but not in the same league as forged magnesium or carbon fiber.

I would not stroke it if I was going to use that much gas 1260 or 1270.
