Thanks Otis, that's neat. I saw the guy taking the pic but didn't think much of it. I was in the process of waving at him.
Yeah no pants that day. But we did have everything else BUT pants.

Well, seems as how it's your honeymoon I'd expect there to NOT be any pants on.

yeh that would be killboy's group, he's been doing photos for hte last 3 or 4 weeks off and on.
he's good people though, and does really nice work on the pictures

It's a pretty sweet bike. Very easy to ride, and loads of fun. I'd definitely like to ride one that had a few motor mods. The 1200 has good torque and runs pretty strong. It seems to start falling off at around 9500 rpm though. No slouch by any means, but I'm sure a pipe,filter, and jet kit would do the motor some justice.
I noticed when I had the thing out playing around riding wheelies how the power fell off.If you didn't have the thing up on the balance point the frontend would fall like a rock once the tach got into the 9 to 9.5k region.  Still a hoot to ride, and a good wheelie machine once you got used to it. You can ride 2nd gear clutch wheelies from a rediculously low mph. Like say a fast walking pace. The thing is flickable too. I know most standard guys sway towards the FZ1, but not me. I've spent considerable seat time on one and it's nutless down low, and has one of the worst rear springs I've ever encountered. Couple that with the fact that I think it's ugly as sundried dogshit & the ZRX gets the nod from me everytime. It doesn't pull like the FZ1 does in the upper revs, but I think a little work would cure that. I could never own either bike as an "only bike", but a well sorted out standard would be a welcome addition to my garage, especially since I've been doing a lot of 2-up riding lately.
