A collective pat on the back for Muzzys
Well, got my SS and carbon fibre exhaust system yesterday. Noticed that when I removed can from the box there was a scratch on the name plate. Everything else was just fine. I was hoping to avoid sending the whole can back and just replace the name plate. Cheaper and easier for both of us.
Well, called ol' Dave in sales over there. Sending me another name plate and a couple o' rivets as well. No hassle - just doin' it. Just took my address over the phone - didn't ask for sales reciept or anything. Apologized for it (but no apology needed in my book - stuff happens).
Cranked up the bike - I had the quiet baffle put in. Nice burble at idle. Yeah, a little louder than the stock pipe (which has some 'modifications' to the baffle). Haven't heard it a full song yet - but I can tell it's quieter than Elk's Muzzy.
So, quite the thumbs up for the boys at Muzzys. Usually you'll only hear bad crap about folks and little positive press.

If DOug Meyers ever leaves, it will be difficult for me to do business there. He has always been the District court of appeals (Rob is the supreme Court). He has made calls to me while on the road to get stuff straight for me. Even the fact that Rob (The man himslef) posted about a concern I had, porves the point. They really do care Period. Of course and until they become God, it will never be perfect!

YEah - I was having some problems getting a decent starting point PC- IIIr map for my 2000 with full Muzzy. I kept stating my problems on the boards and eventually Doug himself sent me over a GREAT map (he PERSONALLY e-mailed it to me). Not only did it work right out of the box - but it gave me about 175 rear wheel HP! Where else do you get THAT kind of service these days?!?!? NOWHERE. Muzzys = #1.
