Sanity check for Rear Brake lever
I need some help!
I'm putting all my shizzel back together after having it powdercoated (all pegs, brake pedal, shift lever and swingarm).
All seems to have gone fairly well, no left over parts, yet,....but I'm not exactly done.
Anyway, there are two springs for the rear brake lever and the master cylinder. A skinny one, and a shorter, fat one.
The skinny one was kind of obvious as to where it goes. There is a shouldered bolt on the "inside" of the footpeg bracket, and a tiny hole on the bottem of the plastic cylinder that triggers the rear brake light.
The fatter spring has me in a quandry though because although I think the bottem of it goes on the same shouldered small bolt as the other spring, the top of it "seems" like it would go on this "tab looking thing" also on the backside of that bracket.
The odd thing to me is that while the shouldered bolt has a head on it to keep the spring in place, the "tab" thing has no lip, or anything to INSURE that the spring stays in place on the top side.
Just wondering if I'm putting it in the right place.
Can someone check theirs for me?????

Both go to the brake lever (same pin) small goes to light switch (you knew this) other end of big one goes up by the upper mounting bolt but on the rear of the braket...
Just re-read yer post...THERE IS A HOLE IN THAT TAB!!!
It must have PowderCoating in it
