02 zx12r cam timing
hi guys , thanks in advance for any help you can give either in the forum or via pm
i have a stock standard 02 zx12r engine that im running in my race car , because of the class i race in i have to have stock head , stock cams , injection is open as is ignition , i have a muzzys ignition advance plate in it , i have arp cam adjusters as this is also allowed to be played with , the engine will be running around 9000 - 11600/12000 for the race , im looking to get peak hp and peak torque with what ever i set the cams too , the engine runs on methanol / alcohol ive also fitted a muzzys dry sump set up to it as well ,

if you can upgrade the springs, and or add ti retainers, get the ecu flashed for a 12400 rev limit and try 106 108. can the head be shaved for more compression? aftermarket pistons?

hey there kz , not really allowed to run the ti retainers , im in the thread for flashing now , lol , head can be shaved minimal

I had a list of this a long time ago. But I think 105/107 will work good. A thin head gasket will bump the compression to around 12.8 to 1.
