been painting 12R's since they came out....There is no "code" in the VIN or anywhere on the bike I have found. I in the same time frame work for PPG auto/motorcycle paint. The color is called "candy thunder blue" and our mixing brand code is 926862 and can be mixed at any PPG jobber store. We have a 3-stage and a 2-stage version. Take it from me, the 3-stage candy works the best on match. Do a "step-down" card to verify the number of coats for the best color match.......
