2006 zx12 non start
HI can someone help me i have removed my bike engine done timingshain refit engine and now bike does not start engine turning but not firing FI light flashing

service manuals hard to come by. see if u can spot a legit used copy on ebay perhaps, or save yourself the hassle and order a new one like zx12mark says. or if you're just looking for the diagnostic codes, search for instructions online. they're out there somewhere. I know some members like Dino know how to at least get the codes out of the ECU.

it sounds to me that you may have the exhaust cam a tooth out,, the exhaust cam pickup tells the computer what stroke the moter is at, if its out a tooth either way, that sucker aint gunna fire,,,
(when you install a 00 or 01 cam into a later model, you have to modify the position of the pickup a few degrees ,,)
have just reread your post, why did you take the engine out ? to install a new chain, you could have done it in there,, check that you have "all" conections in place, and that your sidestand is up,,,
