Chain lube for 530ZVX
I just got a new 530zvx chain from Schnitz...and it was packed in a white looking greese. Do I need to clean it and apply a good chain lube, or is that chain lube itself....and just throw it on? Thanks!

it's a good grease but you might want to wipe some it off if you can. If you use a hais dryer to warm it up it is a lot easier. Plus you want to be real smooth with the new chain to let it break in even and you will have to adjust two or three times in the first 30 miles or so while the grease works it's way out.

I think it is something like white lithium grease. AN so far Alisyn Chain lube has done the best for me. Hard to find but good stuff!
