Look Maw I got an air cooled engine
Kaboom 3 months ago.i`m working on putting in the 0 mile brand new 2003 zx12r engine.I ask my 13 year old 59,000 mile engine to go to 12,000 rpm`s 1 too many times........It did have a slight knock at idle..... i`m sorry mr. engine for killing you...........
The silver thing at the top of the gapping gash is part of the piston squirting out.Half ended up on the header pipes.

A little JB Weld and some black paint and it will be good as new. :-)

If using '00 ECU remember you have to change the CAM position sensor pick up to get it up and running.
