i dont believe that 1.34. should have been well into the 8s with that 60 ft. i know i have put a 1287 8s with far slower short times.

the 1287s i ran had 2 in cams and were pump gas. the stroker had big cams

Did another 9.4 stock wheelbase and engine (aside from 3 stiffer clutch springs) but bike dropped 10 mph (trapped 145 vs about 155). Thought I blew it up but idled and revved ok. I'll have to see if its the stock 00 clutch basket or something worst.
Haven't done better than 9.4s but that run felt 9.3s, tach sweeping thru 12k when the party was shut down.

just did 9.32@147 at 7"over best at 4"over 9.25 best mph 156.99 at cecil md
stock engine muzzy ti.

i was hoping the 9.32 would of been quicker but it was not. i expect it was cause i added .8qts of extra oil for keeping the crank oiled. i know the mph should of been twards 150 that day.

I always ran extra oil (higher on the sight glass). my street pipe setup even had an additional section added to the pan to hold even more.

Scott I have to look at the clutch again. But I will drain more out and just have it at the top of the glass.
Scott the arms I welded up and drilled 1/8" lower worked perfect 4 springs and two arms aluminum bolts about 2.75grams.
Lockup was about 8500 rpms and the front stayed down. I was shooting oil in my self.
Third pass I shot oil and this time dipped it over. Well either too much oil or something went bad caused it slipped way high rpms and threw the front. Ahwell.
